Bio

Virginia L. Frank is an AV Preeminent Rated Family Lawyer by Martindale Hubbell and has been awarded the Top 10 Family Law Attorney in Oklahoma by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys in 2016 and 2018. Not only is Virginia ranked as a Platinum Client Champion on Martingale Hubbell, the highest peer review rating available, but she is also a Charter Member and Fellow of the American Academy of Assisted Reproductive Technology Attorneys (AAARTA) and a Fellow and active member of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (///A). She is also a member of Helpusadopt.org.

Receiving her Juris Doctorate from the Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1991, Virginia knew her calling in life was to help others. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, Nevada Bar Association (In-House Agency Counsel-Adoption Choices, Inc.), and Cherokee Tribal Court Bar.

Virginia’s hard work has been acknowledged and appreciated as she has been awarded the 2017 Distinguished Lawyer from Expert Network. She is also an active member in the Gift of Adoption Colorado Chapter Board, the Oklahoma Native American Bar Association, Cherokee Bar Association, American Adoption Congress, NICWA (National Indian Child Welfare Association); NACAC (North American Council on Adoptable Children), GLBT Colorado, and is licensed to practice before the Cherokee Nation Courts.

Mrs. Frank’s practice is limited to Interstate Adoptions (ICPC), Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA), infant and toddler adoptions, designated adoptions, interstate adoptions, stepparent adoptions, same sex adoptions, second parent adoptions, relative adoptions, and disrupted adoptions. Virginia also represents intended parents, egg donors, sperm donors, embryo donors as well as surrogates and gestational carriers in assisted reproductive technology cases. Virginia has completed over 4,000 adoptions in her life, and is involved annually in approximately 200 adoptions and 75 Reproductive Technology cases.
